Making a final decision I flew towards where loners would be which was unclaimed land. As I lapped up water in large gulps i was dazed by scales of fish who swam under the waters surface. I never hunted before, so I went for a bite. My teeth grabbed nothing but water and the fish swam deeper in the lake. I have no gills and I don't know how to swim or if it's possible for me to. I've heard fishing took patience which I lack of at times, but if patience gets me food, then I'll be very patient.

Ebony thought for a moment before speaking again. "I appreciate the offer, but it might not be a good idea for me to join you guys. We just got things settled between Ice and Shadow Clan, and while I don't give a rat's tail about Clan politics, I'd like to just leave without anyone noticing. Besides, it seems like everyone is just jumping at each other's throats, so I'd rather not give them a reason to start a bunch of useless bloodshed. Not that I don't enjoy the drama, but Shadow Clan is touchier than a wet cat." He drummed his claws on the ground. "I'll leave when you do, though. Maybe they won't notice my disappearance when they're more focused on having the territory to themselves again." He smirked a bit. "...So you think I'd make a good Ice Clan dragon, huh?" He was half-teasing her, but - he would never admit this aloud - he was genuinely curious.

"Then let us go." Ruby Flame picked up her kill and spread her wings. She took off, her powerful strokes launching her high into the air. She caught an air current and used it to her advantage, letting it speed her back to camp. She glanced back over her shoulder, seeing if Wildfire was following.

Frost Wind backed up just slightly, she could see she had crossed a line. "Of course. I think it is important that medics share their wisdom with each other. Our job first and foremost is to provide care and healing, and I see no reason why it would help us to hold the same Clan rivalries that the other dragons do. We do not fight to kill, so I believe it is only the right thing to do by sharing what I can." She looked a bit concerned as Farthing went on. "Surely your Clan at least holds some respect for you? Shadow and Ice have been at odds for a while before this, and I know they did not return uninjured. They had to ask you for help, no?" She frowned slightly, then chuckled a bit. "My Clan does not fully understand the work I do, but I think they at least know they'd be at a loss without me. Our work is of the utmost importance, just like hunting. If the warriors could see that, well, perhaps we'd get a little more recognition than we do now."

Dust Strike nodded and adjusted his wings a little. "I have no doubt that you are more than capable of managing things. I truly appreciate your help, Jaspar, and with any luck we won't be needing your impressive medic abilities later tonight." He smiled a little, feeling the worry melt away as he thought over his new plan. "It's almost time for us to leave, so I should probably gather the new team. I don't think I'll be needing more than two or three dragons, so there should be plenty left to take care of any duties."

Queranix watched as Kasey bolted ahead, then smiled and shook his head in defeat. He knew when he was beaten and would accept his loss with his head held high. What he had really wanted was for Kasey to feel better, and judging by the young warrior's sharp-toothed smile, he had gotten his wish. He chuckled and called out to his opponent. "Alright, alright! You win! As we had both anticipated, I'm sure. Now let's land, I see the lake just ahead." He settled into a glide and began to lazily spiral downward, hitting the ground with a soft squelch. The mud oozed between his claws, but he was used to that by now anyways.

i stared at that lakes water for awhile now and the fish didn't come into my vision again. I've lost much of my patience and my hope for a meal. A clap of thunder was followed by a flash of lighting in a clouded sky. The only i knew was the flash of white going over my dark shoulders in the corners of my eyes and in the reflection of the lakes. "This is stupid, why am I doing this?" I said aloud and when I looked up there was a dragon at the lake as well. I recognized him, it was the clan deputy, Shadows second in command. My muscles which were tightened relaxed because of this and relief drained from my mind.

He blinked before wrapping one of his wings around her, before trying to comfort her by saying "I-i thing the worst p-part of the s-storm is over. A-at least I think, c-considering my limited k-knowledge". He yawned slightly before jumping a little as a clap of thunder echoed through the air, and he whimper before covering his fluffy ears, whispering "its almost over".

Kao felt her face heat up slightly, but his it under her wings as more thunder crashed down. "Th-thanks." She whimpered, uncontrollably nuzzling closer to the ice wing. ( sorry it's short! Writers block ;; )

Jay looked out across the dark camp, her scales resembling shards of ice as rain hit them making them glint a bit. "I look like a fire dragon in a crowd of ice dragons." She snickered with a king of annoyance in her voice. " I hope that this rain will let up soon... " she growled, shaking the rain off of her feather tipped tail once more, only to see it get wet again.

Blackout got up,padding to the camp exit and sitting down.He looked around for any movement,then grinned a bit,getting up again and leaving camp "i dont care how shadow punishes me.I do what i want."he muttered,going into the forest "she can punish me for leaving however she wants,i dont care."

Arctic can confront blackout when he wakes up now,got him to leave camp XD)

Wildfire was already infront of her,and saw her looking back "what are you looking for?"he asked,frowning a bit.His giant wings flapped effortlessly,keeping him up.He found flying easy

Kasey glanced over his shoulder at Queranix as he called out, and laughed a bit. He dove down after the shadow clan deputy, shooting down toward the ground before snapping his wings out at the last second, rustling the forest foliage around him as he landed with a muted thump. "Good race! You're pretty quick." He commented with a grin, coming to stand by the slightly larger dragon for a moment before shifting further forward, scenting the air for signs of prey. He had greatly enjoyed the adrenaline rush of their speedy flight, but he understood it was time to be more serious and stay alert. "I think our best chance will be to come from opposite sides of the lake, I can see some deer standing by the waters edge.." He said, peering through the forest trees. His comment was open ended however, leaving the final decision toward action up the older and more experienced dragon.

Crystal nodded, "All we get is snow and ice I'm afraid, I can say I do appreciate this rain, though the thunder and lightning prove to be a bit more alarming, if not beautiful." He acknowledged with a smile, keeping his composure when a flare of electricity boomed across the sky, though his tail did flinch in mild alarm. He turned his eyes back to Shadow as the sky darkened once more with the lightnings passing, "Yes that would be nice! I always loved the feeling of flying right after a blizzard, I would imagine flying after a storm would be somewhat similar!" He said thoughtfully. At the mention of leadership duties however, Crystal would be bold faced lieing if he said his smile didn't falter a fraction. "I can defiantly understand, especially with this move and tensions being so high...I would have thought that my clan would have been more grateful to your clan for opening your home to us in our time of need." he said, his smile tilting downward into somewhat of a frown.
