The pup wiggled around trying to get free from Carson's jaws but he didn't let go. He thought about bringing the pup to the shelter and let them do what they want with it but he didn't want to, for all he knows they might just kill the pup, or torture it. Carson wasn't heartless, but he wasn't going to be a father of what looks to be a muted runt. He didn't even know the first thing of being a father. He made his decision, bring the puppy to the shelter. He wasn't going to watch a puppy die in front of his own eyes because he didn't know the first thing on being a parent, instead he'll give the puppy to those creatures and humans and let that puppy be their problem and if they do decide to torture and kill the pup, he wouldn't know and wouldn't feel guilty abandoning it.

Maria looked over to the girls as they nursed. "I guess they found us." she said quietly. The pups finished and soon went over to Kiro. "Was Alex still up at the hospital?" asked Maria. "Uh huh." answered Eileen. Maria slightly nodded and laid down. Rebecca looked up to Kiro. "How did you find Kaden and Chase?" she asked.
