"Yeah yeah..." he mumbled. Cybil was relieved that it didn't hurt, but she was still a tiny bit nervous; perhaps it was just learned anxiety from her mother. The pup tried not to fidget as Jacques took his time.

Cybil watched the table, as now she was past the point of no return. Jacques finished and gently brushed her shoulders off. Cybil saw her reflection in the table and looked closer. "I look like a different pup..." she said softly.

Eddy frowned. "Why would you do that" Eddy pouted sadly
