Family? He thought, he hadn't felt family in so long. His heart didn't hurt, he was used to it, after all he was one to often hang on his own. "It makes you all the more unique, doesn't it?" She was a cute kid, she seemed pretty bright under that rigid surface. "I'll be your name buddy, then; Alessa and Angelo." He told her softly, turning to rest on his uninjured side. He kept his eyes open from now on, choosing to be more interested in his surroundings as well.

Scriosta growled in pain in her sleep. Her ear hurt where the tag had been torn out while fighting. She lifted her head and shook it violently with another growl.

Lydia laid down on the cot with a sad sigh. The memories continued to attack her and she was soon crying again.

Blizzard jumped sideways in surprise when Cyclone roared. She looked at the dragon silently. She then looked back at Sunrader. "O-Okay... My name's Blizzard..." She neighed softly.

"That sounds great." said Alessa happily, wagging her tail some. The pup felt so much happier and she chose to forget what Moonshadow said about letting nature take its course; she was alive now and she now had someone to call her friend.

Angelo sighed contently and listened to the sound of rain on the roof. She seemed a lot more at ease now that they'd been talking. Perhaps something had been bothering her before. He'd ask, but he thought it not classy. "How many creatures live here?" Angelo inquired, the place seemed quiet, at least right now. He wondered where that vet had gone that'd taken him in. Maybe they were tending to others?

Alessa thought for a moment. "I'm not exactly sure." she said, "Including me, my family and I total to ten. There's a lot of animals here." She yawned a little and slowly shut her eyes. "Not to sound rude, but what kind of animal are you?" she asked.

He perked his ears up at the number. It wasnt too crowded, that was nice to know. "Ah, that's a nice number." He told her. He found himself a little excited to meet them, which was sorta unusual. "No offence taken! I'm a Peryton. We're sort of uncommon these days. It's basically a cross between a bird and a deer." He lifted his striped wings and wiggled his talons to show her. He knew he was quite unudual, and not quite as graceful as a gryphon or a pegasus, but he liked to consider himself one of a kind around here. "We usually live further up in the mountains... I'm the only one i've met, yet."

[Boomer]

"Oh, I've never heard of your kind." said Alessa quietly, "S-so, is one of your parents a bird and the other is a deer? Or are they both Peryton?" She then thought for a moment. "Wait, you said you're the only one you've met..." she said, "What happened to your parents?"

Allecto/Kitsune/Tags;Solia

Allecto curled up around the shivering pup, although she felt some pain from the wetness, and fell asleep.

Solia/Wolf/Tags;Allecto

Solia felt Allecto's warm fur encircling her, and drifted off into a blissful sleep.
