when kids wish on a star, they believe that the magical powers will grant them their dream. but as they wait, they realize nothing is going to happen.
no one understands a young human's imagination. the limitations. what feeds it. where do they realize the difference between reality and dream?
when parents tell their kids that it was just a crazy thought, a part of their imaginative territory dies, and creativity with it. never does anyone wonder
what kind of power lies in the holds of a young persons' thoughts, or the lives that die along with it.

As humans, almost no one believe in fantasy. Unicorns, fairies, dragons, leprechauns, et cetera. But, there are still people who do. Children have wide imaginations. A vast expanse of mental pictures and paintings that nourish their need for creativity. This unlimited source of power fuels the lives of many in another world. A whole difference galactic universe. The creatures who live in this other world are dragons. There are thousands of different species, some more common than others. The beasts feed off of smaller reptiles, or mammals that are unfortunate enough to fall into the hold of the large predators. When a child stops believing, most commonly, one dragon dies. No on knows of these strange occurrences, and how the magnificent creatures are going extinct because of the small amount of dream in the world.
Survival in this other world is harsh. Animals fighting for their lives, territory, and food. As big as this other world is, there never seems to be enough. Forests, deserts, oceans, savannas, and more are scattered across this land. Many different creatures live in these areas, as small a number there is.
