The male flashed a grin. "Hey it's fine, just be careful next time." Link replied then tipped his head cutely at her. "What have you been doing lately? I haven't seen you around camp that much." He said. That's mostly my fault though, I always try and find new things.

Medli gave a weak laugh as she smiled. "Alright, I'll try to watch where I'm going." Taking a calming breath, Medli thought about how to answer Link's question. "Hmm, when I'm not pestering FN, I, um, suppose I'm out wandering the territory..." Stammering, she asked, "a-and what a-about you, L-Link?" Great job, Medli. You're just talking to him, no need to get embarrassed...

Link nodded softly to Medli's response. It's great that she's helping out, she's really resourceful. "I've been doing...okay I guess. My training been getting along well, and there's something new everyday to explore." His eyes shined. "Like yesterday I found this weird rock that was pink with orange swirls on it. It was really pretty." Link said, grinning now.

A tilt of her head was all that conveyed Medli's interest, yet she smiled- less forced this time- and asked, "do you know where it is? I'd love to see it..." Thank goodness. Maybe you can relax now...

Link stood up now, nodding. "Sure," The Eevee paused, then continued, "It's outside of camp, right beside the stream. We can go now if you want." He offered, gesturing towards the exit of camp. Link was actually quite excited; it wasn't common someone would join him on a 'quest' (as he liked to call them) to find something.

Medli's eyes lit up in excitement. She nodded her head, uttering a quiet, "let's go, then!" The slightest bit impatient, Medli headed to the camp exit.


(I have gotten the idea that either Medli's crush will remain eternally unrequited and she just says nothing or she has her heart broken. And I kind of want to see the second option. Either way I don't see a happy ending for poor Medli. ^^;)
