He looked into his cave, Empty and scorched. He shook his head at disapproval. "Oh well..." He started digging dirt back into the hole, trying to level out the ground.

Emberivion smiled. "I know you're not like that, though. You wouldn't burn down the world, because you're different, and so am I, but being different allows us to understand each other in a way. A way that all those that are the same wouldn't get." he said calmly. "I think it is destiny. The best destiny ever, because I get to be with the best phoenix in the land." He tackled Yvaine playfully, careful not to hurt her, while wrapping his wings around her again. "And I couldn't ask for anything better." He pressed his dark red nose against her beak lovingly, closing his eyes.

'Yes, it is quite different. He also has lungs so he can breathe in air and wonder. It's quite fascinating actually.' The elder said kindly, her blue eyes glinted slightly.

Deamond stood up on the sand, his feathers were soaked and it made his color seem darker. Some of his feathers were ruffled and it annoyed him. The male looked to Clarrismae and was glad she was alive. 'Youre still my clan member Clarissmae. And I stil care for you if I want to admit it or not.' He said regularly. Desmond sook out the water which fluffed his feathers and made his seems poofy. He scolded himself before he turned and started to walk off the beach.

Ava shook out her dappled fur, ducking her head when her stomach grumbled, she had forgotten about the hunt when she went to help Desmond. Ava took a paw-step forward, toward the Krilla camp, that's where the deer herd was last. She decided to keep the griffin company on their way back. The lion swiftly padded after alpha, catching up to him easily, and looked at him curiously before opening her maw, "You may not want this role... But seeing how you would risk your life for one of your members, I think it suits you." she walked alongside him, feeling wet and uncomfortable, stopping every now and again to shake water from her pelt.

The males ear flicked at the sound of a females voice. He kept walking but turned his attention to the lion. 'I don't want to be alpha. I hate it. Doing all of this by myself is too much for me. But I have to save my members. I would feel guilty. I can't have that on my conscious.' Desmond said calmly.

Ava tilted her head; "So you don't want to be Alpha, but you don't step down?..." she was utterly confused, but then again, she wasn't the brightest Krilla member.

I smiled sarcastically. "Aw man! I am your clan member, feels so good to be loved like that." I coughed up some more water, it was mixed with some sort of blood. And now I'm sick and might die no matter what. Thank goodness death is always trying to catch up with me! "Oh, whatever, I don't have any more strength anyway." I looked at Desmond with sad green eyes, attempting a smile. I was probably failing. "I missed ya, you know. It's kinda hard when you feel guilty of murder but, oh well. And you should probably stay alpha. Get that fancy griffon as the second alpha would make it easier." I coughed again, this time more blood than water. Eesh.

I nodded. "I'm always fine, I'm really good at surviving." I dug back the dirt into the hole, managing to fill it up. "And tada, cave is cleaned. Now all we have to do is scramble for herbs hoping nobody dies this year.'"

The elder shrugged. 'I was coming here to find Desmond actually. But I saw him fly off towards the ocean. Do you know why he's down there? He hates the water if I recall correctly. It's been a long time since he's been in water. He almost drowned once and sworn to never go in water again.' Karliah said casually.
