Darren looked at the gift by his feet. "What is it?" He asked, sitting up. He was careful not to bump codi and wake her up.

Silver looked back. "Oh, just a puzzle and a book. Stuff to keep you entertained." She shrugged, sitting down at the edge of the large room.

[Boomer]

Maria saw Henry wheel Mary down to the NICU and they came inside after cleaning up. "So Mary picked out the most boyish name for our daughter." said Henry. "Bennett is a very strong name. She needs a strong name." said Mary sternly, "It flows very well... Cybil Bennett Shepherd."

[Pipsquawk]

Kiro sighed as he arm began to hurt but he was fighting for his life at this point and he wasn't about to lose it and miss out on his pups! a while passed and they all were brought back to camp and switch out again.

Kiro was worried because he haden't received a letter yet from Maria but decided to wright anyway. "Hey Maria, you got my last letter right? If you did, good anyway I got a pretty bad cut on my arm. Nothing serious enough to send me back I miss you and Alessa! ~ Kiro." He sighed before it was sent off, they were told the letters were going to be sent faster now, good.

Kiernan smiled "I'll try not to! I had killed someone today though... Kiro got a nasty cut on his arm as well and Riko kinda got punched in the face a few times. Besides that were all alright once again.~Kier" The letter was sent along with the other's and indeed the mailing process was faster because it arrived at the houses in a few short hours!

Riko decided to wait until he got something from hope until he responded. He would be too exausted to at the moment so he curled up an fell asleep.

[Boomer]

Maria sighed a little, as she wanted to check the mail. She knew the letters were coming very fast. "Too bad they can't call." she whispered to herself. Mary and Henry discussed their pup's name as a nurse came over with a birth certificate. Mary filled it out and poked Henry in his nose. "Fine..." he said, agreeing on the name and signing it, "Only because you gave birth."

Hyde sat at the base of a tree, sharpening his knife. He had avoided going out on patrol today and was now doing nothing at the camp. Why had he even let them draft him? He dind't know, but he was here none the less.

Darren looked inside the box at the items and nodded. "Um.. thanks." He set it on the nightstand next to the bed. Glancing at codi he looked back at Silver. "So... i guess you should probably go home.. check for mail from kiernan huh?"

Silver shrugged. "Sure, I mean if you want I can leave. I, I will just go." She waved and stepped out. She went back home, and smiled when another letter appeared. She rushed inside, read it, and replied.

Oh gosh, Kiro is ok though right, and poor Riko. Sounds nasty. I wouldn't be surprised if that cut got infected, he should get it treated. How is the war going? I mean, are you winning?

She read over the note, and changed a few things, and sealed everything up. She decided giving it right to the mail officer would speed the process up, and it did.

[Boomer]

"I'm gonna go home and check the mail." said Maria, leaving the NICU. She left the hospital and rushed home. She checked the mailbox and found two letters. She read them, then sat down to write.

My dear Kiro, you better make sure that doesn't get infected. Or maybe let it a little so you can come home. It's so strange with most of the men gone... honestly, it's super weird. Alessa told Cybil (Mary's daughter) about you. Cybil's in a rough shape, but she's strong. Come home safely. With much love, Maria

She sent off her letter after stamping it and addressing it to the base.

Darren watched as she left and sighed. She was falling for kiernan, hyde was right. She moved on so easily. Shifting to sit up, he flicked on the t.V. He looked at codi and smiled slightly. At least he had one friend in this cruel world.
