Maria got out her phone and sent a quick text to Codi. Alessa says thanks for the fish. Henry named him Otis. she wrote. She then looked to Mary. "When can I go home?" asked Alessa softly. "Soon, those burns aren't too bad." she said, "You'll just have to take it easy, okay?" Mary got up as a doctor came in and the two talked in the hallway.

"Kaufmann." he grunted. He looked at the picture, then at Kiro. "Yeah, that's Dahlia." he said, "When she was happy and not pregnant."

Codi folded her arms and raised an eye brow, looking at Lily, wanting an explanation. Codi texted back, glad she likes it!

"Was the pups name Alessa? You two were together when she gave birth, correct?" So far Kiro had enough evidence to take him to the station for questioning.

Maria read Codi's message and smiled a little. They're gonna release her. Come and visit whenever you want. she wrote back. The doctor discharged Alessa and the pup was wheeled outside, as it was hospital policy. Mary picked up Alessa and slightly winced. "I got her." said Henry, taking Alessa from his wife. Maria sent a text to Kiro. Alessa got discharged, we'll be at home. Be safe. she wrote. The three adults trekked back to their house.

Kaufmann sat on his couch and shrugged. "I have no clue who the kid's father is." he said, "Dahlia cheated on me around the time she said she was pregnant."

"Not really that's what we want the pups to think though" April whispered as lily milk fed them.

"Aah." she looked down at her phone, "Lily! Alessa was just discharged! Isn't that great?" she asked, texting back: thats great! I'll bring her a surprise tomorrow!

EDIT: Anyone else think something should happen to one of Lily and April's pups?

Maria looked at the message and slightly nodded to herself. See you then! If you see Lily, tell her she can pick up her suitcase anytime. she wrote. The four got back to the house and Henry carried Alessa into the kitchen. Alessa saw her new fish and smiled. "Otia does kinda fit." she said, "Will he live in the kitchen?" "No, I'll get Otis is own tank tomorrow." said Mary softly, "It'll be healthier for him to be in a nice big tank. We'll set it up in your room." Alessa nodded and wagged her tail.

"really! Congratulations!" Lily said standing up. She looked at April and the grabbed the pups by their scruff and brought them to Codi. The one Lily was carrying was Amy. And the other was Heather.

[Boomer]

Henry went and put Alessa to bed. He shut her door and sat in his easy chair as the twins sat on the couch. "We'll have to be careful where we take Alessa." said Mary softly, "Who knows where her mother is." Maria nodded some. "You two will have to carry her for a little while." said Mary, "At least until those burns heal. The poor thing looks so rough." Henry nodded and looked at the twins. "I'll carry her except for the bathroom." he said. "Fair enough." shrugged Maria.

Codi looked at them, "cute!" she held Amy and looked down at her. "Their beautiful pups. Congrats, both of you."
