"Gillespie." said Mary, "Alessa was given her mother's last name. I still have Alessa's medical files at home. I didn't even know Dahlia was still alive. The files said that it was a house fire and they never could locate her body... they said it was a big fire, so I just assumed she was dead." Maria looked down as Alessa twitched a little.

[Pipsquawk]

"Alright I'll make sure she's put behind bars, week start looking for her tomorrow." Kiro had gone into a more serious mood.

[Boomer]

Mary gave a nod and slowly stood up. "I should run home and get this little guy in a bowl." she said, "I don't want the poor thing to not have enough oxygen." She left the room with the fish bag in her paw. She needed a little bit of alone time anyways.

[Pipsquawk]

Kiro looked at Maria and sighed, putting his paw on his forehead while rubbing his temples as he sat down in a chair.

[Boomer]

Maria sat next to him and rubbed his back. "You'll catch her." she said, "You're the best cop I know."

[Pipsquawk]

"Like you said when we met, I'm the only cop you know." Kiro was frustrated with the whole situation. He was going to find the person though, no matter what.

[Boomer]

"That's true..." she murmured, "But I know you can catch her. You have more than just 'she did something illegal' to fuel you."

[Pipsquawk]

"Attempt at murder, kidnapping what else could there be besides the fact that she's insane. I'm going to be glad when I catch her." Kiro glanced to Alessa and took a deep breath before standing "I can't Maria, I can't sit and watch her like this, I'm going into work. I know it's late but..."

[Boomer]

"Alright, please don't get hurt." she said, kissing him on the cheek.
