She woke up with a start. How long had she been asleep for? She shook the tears from her eyes. She was thirsty and hungry, but she didn't want to go back to the lake. Thinking back, she had been a bit unkind. She didn't know what had happened. All of it had just come rushing out. She decided to hunt. She scented a squirrel not far away, and crept up o it. the distance was still too great, so she sent the squirrels shadow and turned them into sharp daggers, piercing it's body cleanly. She padded over and withdrew the shadow, and sank down to tear at the squirrel, relishing it's juiciness.

"Hello Miraclepaw!" Salmonfur said cheerfully, "I'm Salmonfur."

She narrowed her eyes as she saw a russet snout poke out from the undergrowth. Fox! she wanted to run, but it was too late. It had already seen her. She had no choice but to fight. The fox snarled and leapt at her. She jumped up onto its back, and clawed , but the fox threw her off. She grunted as she hit the ground, but got up instantly. The fox glared at her, and she leapt at it. She shrieked as it clawed of some fur, and in return, she scratched its muzzle. It snarled in pain, and this time, she saw that it had murder in its eyes. She had no choice but to gather up the surrounding shadows, and turn them into a shield that domed around her, protecting her completely. She collapsed down onto the ground, breathing heavily as she fought to get her strength back. Everything was swimming in front of her face, but she had to keep the fox out. It was too late. She blacked out from exhaustion...

She heard a fox and ran over. It started to charge at her when she gave it a cold stare. Instantly it fell to the ground, frozen in fear. She walked over to it and killed it with a swipe across it's throat before going over to Moonshine and nudging her until she awoke.

Pouncewing
He smiled at Miraclepaw and guided her over to Salmonfur. He looked down at Miraclepaw, forcing an embarrassed smile. "Miraclepaw!" He sat down and looked at Salmonfur mouthing a sorry. He smiled, knowing Miraclepaw's gift.

After whispering to Pouncewing she smiled as she helped. "Hi Salmonfur! I hope Pouncewing wasn't too weird towards you." She said with a smirk. She giggled then spoke again. "Are you hungry?"

She opened her eyes warily to see Tigerlilly staring down at her
"I'm okay.Thank you, and I'm sorry for my outburst earlier on. Do you wan-" She broke off abruptly and coughed up some blood
"Nothing to worry about. Do you want to join my clan?"

When Moonshine fell asleep, Howlpaw slept next to her. She woke up early so she could get away in time, but it was converting to sleep with another cat for the first time in a moon.

She nodded. "It's fine. Sure I'll join as long as I can be a warrior. By the way. Ever ate fox before?" She smirked and looked back at the dead fox.

Pouncewing
He smiled at Miraclepaw and guided her over to Salmonfur. He looked down at Miraclepaw, forcing an embarrassed smile. "Miraclepaw!" He sat down and looked at Salmonfur mouthing a sorry. He smiled, knowing Miraclepaw's gift.

Her stomach growled loudly when she saw the meat. It had been days since she had last eaten.

She purred in amusement.
"Nope, but I'm not sure I'd want to eat fox! Thank you, Tigerlilly." She nuzzled her briefly, before pulling away.
"Sure you can be a warrior, and a warrior you are, especially with that stare of your." she twitched her whiskers in amusement.
"Though we can only perform the ceremony when we have gathered enough cats. Care to travel with me and search for more clan mates?"
