Doestrike stumbles out of the clearing or her home. Well, her old home. Shadow clan kicked her out. Her family. Her friends. How could they do that? All because of that one incident where she... No,Doestrike thought. I won't think of that. All of a sudden, she heard whimpering. She peeked into a hollow and saw a cat about an apprentice's age sniffling in a corner.
"Who are you?," Doestrike asks. She trys to look friendly, but the cat wimpers and presses away from her. "I won't hurt you."

Howlpaw hisses and backs away again. "Wh-who are you?" she asks. The other cat looks confused, so Howlpaw slowly backs out of the corner, then turns and runs, straight into a patrol!
