((ACCEPTED!!! *stamps the wolf and shoves her into the hunt*))
The mother moose struggled much more and stamped around, finally shaking Tolek off and running, bellowing, into the undergrowth, crashing into trees and letting loose a blood trail. Tolek landed thankfully on a soft muddy part of the ground, and howled in triumph at getting the calf at least. He walked carefully towards to Renni, then started cleaning her wound with his tongue.

Raknii narrowed his eyes, then nodded.
"Leave now Darkri," He said, then turned around to go check on the progress in getting pups over the river into the newly taken over Iuta pack.

Autumn limped over to the calf and Tolek and Jade. The moose had stepped on her paw, leaving it broken and painful.

Tolek winced as he saw the injuries his wolves had sustained. Maybe he wasn't cut out for Alpha... He had been a much better one before, when he had his mate by his side and the Jokoran Gaurdians patrolling his borders. He would have to let Caevi, his younger brother, look at these wounds. Though there was no such thing as a healer wolf in the normal packs, Caevi had rudimentary knowledge in setting broken bones and giving schedules more fitting to an injured wolf.
Then he turned his eyes to the calf carcass. He leapt forward and tore out a bite, eating the heart and the liver, the most delectable parts in the calf. He then tore off a large hunk from the stomach and gave that to Autumn, then part of the hind-quarters to Renni.

Autumn nodded gratefully at Tolek and began to eat the calf's stomach. She knew she had to put her broken bones back into place, or they'd heal wrong, but she wasn't sure how to do such a thing.
But she was a hunter, and Autumn needed every paw. "Tolek, whatever happened to Caevi?"

Jade stepped away from the calf as the others ate the kill, her belly rumbling suddenly. She padded around the other side, and eagerly began to eat the back of the moose. She was proud of their kill; despite all of their injuries. The only injury she had sustained was a cut on her leg from the undergrowth, and minor bruises from wrestling the calf. Jade peaked over her shoulder, making sure the mother moose hadn't dared to come back.

Darkri's ears flattened against his head as he muttered in a low voice, "Yes, Raknii." With his tail tucked in between his legs, he made his way toward the Robru pack, each paw quivering as he stepped farther away from Dreran territory. His mind whirled with possibilities. He could run off, become a loner. Or, he could survive the winter being a traitor as part of the Robru pack. Darkri knew he shouldn't set one paw or tooth on another wolf without reason.

As Raknii walked by, Natalie dipped her head. "Thank you," she whispered to the beta. Her pale blue eyes shined with triumph. She hadn't heard what the punishment was, but she knew it was sufficient enough. She grinned to herself, proud of her growing pack.

Tolek grunted and allowed Jade to dig in with him. Satisfied, he stepped back from the prey and looked for scavengers, then chased away a vulture.

Arak, the little Robrun puppy, was playing with the new pup that Renni had brought in, with Caevi watching them for sudden movements that might cause them to hurt each other.

Raknii nodded and smiled his grim smile. Suddenly Garuna came trotting up, babbling and rolling her eyes. For all of her insanity, she had small moments when she was sane, and her true nature came out as an experienced, deadly wolf. Her mud crusted fur cracked and small chunks of mud fell out, revealing patches of white.
"The Jokoran... Death to... The elk of the stars... No the queen of the jo... Oh yes yes yes that is right... Darkri.. Dreran.. fate..." She suddenly fell to the ground, sleeping.

Jade stepped away from the calf once she felt satisfied. Her wounds were forgotten about, and she felt new and refreshed again. She couldn't remember a time where she felt as young and renewed. She almost let out a yawn, and was so tempted to curl up and sleep, but she knew she could never let her guard down.

Darkri stopped in his tracks at the edge of the Dreran border. Suddenly, a thought popped into his mind. He had remembered the tales of the Jokoran guardians, how they helped to keep the peace between the two packs. His packmates had always told them how they were wiped out by disease, only leaving a small handful left. He knew it was an insane idea, but he couldn't silence the thought that whispered in his mind. What if he tried to rebuild the guardians? Surely that was where he belonged. He could never betray his pack, no matter how cruel they were. But he knew the task was near impossible. Darkri ached for his pack to accept him, but he knew it was too late for that now. What was he going to do?

Autumn began to limp back to the den, hoping to find Caevi so he could tend to her broken paw. By the time she reached the den, her broken paw had not touched the ground, and it hurt much more. "Caevi?" she called.

After renni ate her share, she stood, wobbled, ached, then started making her way to the den, she would see how the pup she found was going. She wanted to look after it, like a mother. She always wanted to be a mother, but would Tolek allow it? She promised she would do whatever she could to take care of those pup. She knew what its like to be abundant, or let alone due to the death of you pack.
She arrived, and hobbled straight to it, injuries behind her.
