Whispering quietly Luther begin the spell "Sapphires, Loners and Emeralds, Darks and Diamonds, Keep them out of the Ruby's highland" a magic wave engulfed everything, then, then after about two seconds it disappeared, and an unnecessary puff of smoke went straight in Luther's face. By the time he had finished spluttering the Ruby kingdom had a faint yellow glow around it. Now any dragon except the rubys who tried to enter would hit an invisible barrier. What Luther didn't mention was that he only did the spell to include dragons. Luther was technically a phoenix so he would be able to enter, as would any other animal. "Sorry about the flashy magic" half apologised Luther "Let's hope no one notices to much".

"Greetings Moon, just wanted to say that there's an active phoenix around, and that there's an unrest through the kingdoms. Most of the ruby dragons have gone missing and so have some of the sapphires" said Darkreh scowling. Thinking about her brother did not improve her mood "Isn't this supposed to be your spy's job? or has he told you already?" asked Darkreh. As soon as she said this a magic wave whooshed past the cave.

Khodon smiled happily when she saw her friend poke his head out from under another dragon's wing. "Aster!" she said as she landed, "What are you doing?" She had thought she'd told him about her friends here not liking her other friends. A wave of something strange washed by, but she was a bit distracted to dwell on it for too long. "I thought there was a hurt dragon," she said, "And this nice dragon here seemed to want to hurry." She flicked her tail at the stranger who had led her here, then began wondering how they knew each other. "Oh, Aster, how are your plants? Any ideas on that red one I gave you?" she asked. It was so lucky she had found Aster so soon after they had parted ways.

Apathmo watched as the bird made his kingdom glow. At least now the Ruby Kingdom looked impressive. "You're sure it will work?" he asked skeptically, poking the golden glow with one claw.
