Well, at least the little one was friendly Aster, thought. "Umm, Alllright?" he answered tentaltivley, his voice a little hoarse, it was the first time in a while he had used it, save a few seconds ago when he was yelling.

Tilting his head at Aphra, he noticed he'd been asking alot. "Yes?" He practically whispered.

Aphra laid down, a hint of fear in her eyes. "Brighttail, something happened, and I-I d-don't know what, o-or why, or how.."

Sitting up straight, he nodded at Aphra. "And what would that be?" He shivered, realizing that this would be serious. "Is it from the Ruby KIngdom? We need to go back there!" He said, wanting to see the phoenix again.

Aphra felt haunted from that experience, she swallowed, "No, its not about the Ruby Kingdom." Aphra paused, "You fell unconscious, so i brought you back here. As soon as you woke up, y-you were different. I was excited that you were awake, but you acted like you didn't even know me. You-you cackled and scratched yourself purposely, then y-you walked over me and almost killed me. I know this may sound like a story Im making up, but im dead serious."

Aphra squeezed her eyes shut, "A-and your eyes, they were a sickening black,''

"Probably a bit of both.." he muttered, then he attacked Luther.

Luther
I hold my ground as the dragon attacks, then with one push of my claws I send him tumbling back down to the ground (phoenix are strong but they are not invincible). I snort, disappointed that this was apparently his best. so I just sat on the edge of the volcano as the dragon struggled to gain flight...

Brighttail gasped. "Aphra, is this true? Was I really?" He started shaking his head as images of his father went through his mind. No. He can't be going crazy like his father. Why him? That killed his father! The craziness angered the Ruby Kingdom! "Oh, no.." He mumbled.

Khodon
Khodon smiled wide and went to the edge of the clearing. She turned towards the opposite side, crouched, and launched herself into a run, doing her best imitation of Aster's yell. Halfway across the clearing, she tumbled like he had, only she landed on her back. "I don't think I did it right," Khodon said as she watched the tree tops spin.
