Flame fell into a light sleep under the hatchlings nest. He awoke to the soft morning light filtering through the leaves of the trees around. He hadn't dreamed that night and it was rather peaceful compared to the nightmares. He stood and looked into the best to check if Makunga was awake. When he saw that he wasn't he decided to go hunting. He flew over the forest in the red morning light searching for prey. Soon he spotted a herd of mountain goat and swooped down, tackling it and killing it. He then took his kill back to where he had slept the night before.
