Long, long ago, two wolf pups were born. One was pale grey, with white markings on her and haunting, blue eyes. On her back, she had long, white feathered wings, with pale grey tips on them. The other wolf pup however, was pitch black, with white flecks of fur on her flank, muzzle and tail. Like her sister, she had wings, except for the feathered wings her sister had, she had bat-like wings. The pale grey pup was named Echo while the pitch black one was named Fade.

The two wolves grew up after several years. Fade decided to create a pack, The Night Pack, her being the Alpha and Echo being the Beta. The pack grew and thrived and became one of the biggest packs in Auroscisk. Fade, being the crueler of the two rulers, controlled her pack with fear, bitting and snapping at those who dared step out of line. Echo didn't approve of her sister's way of leading, but didn't say a word.

One day, Fade snapped. She was so enraged, she attacked the wolf cowering in front of her. The sound of snapping could be heard, along with whimpers and howls. After what seemed like hours, Fade stepped back, her pelt stained with blood. The wolf was lying limp, un-moving. Echo couldn't take it much longer. She challenged Fade in front of the pack and was obviously defeated, for Fade had a higher authority than her and sent her pack to attack Echo. She fled, leaving Fade along with her pack.

Feeling miserable, she formed her own pack, The Sky Pack, in attempts to stop Fade. Her pack grew, and often her and Fade's pack had spats along the borders. The adaptions grew more and more diverse, until two other packs formed. One was the Earth pack, alliance with Echo. The other, The River Pack, was alliance with Fade. A war broke out, with The Sky Pack being the victorious pack.

Now, Fade sits in silence waiting for her moment to strike and take over again..

Welcome to the sky pack, a pack full of wolves who have the ability to fly in the sky. We are most adapted to living and flying in the sky and are known to be swift and stealthy. We are best at combating in the sky and live in the mountain tops.

360° Vision - Allows the user to see 360°of everything around them. Is useful for avoiding obstacles.
Lens - Allows the user to protect debris from going into their eyes when flying.
Night Vision - Allows the user to see clearly during the night. Useful for flying around at night.

Teeth:
Elongated - Teeth longer than those of a normal wolf.
Stubbed - Although these teeth may not seem lethal, they're quite strong, easily able to crush things.
Curved/Hooked Fangs - Curved or Hooked Fangs can easily make wounds.

Wings:
Feathered - Bird-like wings on your wolf's back.
Bat - Bat/Dragon-like wings on your wolf's back.
Insect - Insect-like wings [ e.g butterflies, bees.. ] on your wolf's back.

Paws:
Sharper Claws - Gives your wolf sharper claws instead of the usual blunt claws.
Protective Pads - Pads of your wolf's pad don't get injured easily; can withstand walking on rough surfaces.
Curved/Hooked Claws - Curved or Hooked Claws can easily make wounds; good for gripping ice too.

Ranks:

These ranks apply for all packs.

Alpha Male & Female
The Alpha Male & Female are the leaders of the pack, and have all control over the pack. They can demote and promote wolves from their ranks and disobeying their words will result in punishment. Traditionally, they are mated, meaning they must be mates.

Beta Male & Female
The Beta Male & Female are second command in the pack, and take over when the Alphas are both away. They organize patrols of all sorts and are expected to be treated with high respect for messing with the Betas is like messing with the Alphas themselves. Unlike the Alphas, both betas do not have to be mates but normally will become mates when the Alphas pass away.

Medic Wolf & Trainee
The Medic Wolf is a wolf skilled in the art of healing. They know a lot about herbs and their effects and will take on a trainee to pass their skills along to.

Assassins
The Assassins are the fighters of the pack, skilled in the art of battle. Occasionally, they do Hunter or Scout duties, although most of the time, they train for battle. Also, they can take on a Trainee to pass their skills along to with the Alphas consent.

Hunters
The Hunters supply food for the pack, swiftly and stealthily catching prey. Occasionally, they do Assassin or Scout duties, although most of the time, they hunt. Also, they can take on a Trainee to pass their skills along to with the Alphas consent.

Scouts
The Scouts patrol the borders, keeping a watch out for enemies. Occasionally, they do Assassin or Hunter duties, although most of the time, they patrol. Also, they can take on a Trainee to pass their skills along to with the Alphas consent.

Elders
The Elders are the old wolves of the pack and don't do any specific duties. They are fed and served because of their long service to the Pack and often offer good advice.

Dams
The Dams are the expecting or she-wolves with pups. They often stay in the Nursery to take care of their pups until they are old enough to become Trainees.

Trainee
The Trainees are the 6 moon old wolves of the pack, training to become a Scout, Hunter or Fighter. They will receive a mentor and will be taught until they reach around the 1 year mark.

Pups
The Pups are the young of the pack, and stay in the nursery with their Dams. Once they become old enough, they will become Trainees.

Omega
The Omega is the lowest ranking wolf in the pack, and is normally put there as a punishment. They are last to eat, and often bear scars from being attacked.
