Asuka
I sat on a high rock in the courtyard, watching others go by. I smiled as others passed. It was hard not to grieve for the alpha's death. But, in my position, I have the job to calm others and, well, make others happy. I looked around for some others to talk to and cheer them up. Looking around, I saw a young fae. Her name is Etherain. I quickly padded over to her. I needed somthing to do. "Greetings!" I barked cheerfully to the fae.

Sheep grunted, "Alright..." His facial expression looked irritated just as it always was, " I guess, that's good to here." His ears flicked to the side a bit as he heard another wolf yelp after a bang against some wood. He clicked his tongue and turned his head to were the dusty stair case was leading up to a small tower. A small bush blocked the other wolf from site.

Allfy stifled a small chuckle and then began eating the rabbit. It was still warm. He was glad he had such long legs. He smiled happily at another success. He had done this several times before, and gotten in trouble for it almost as many. This time he was sure he wouldn't be caught. He had been scolded so many times by now he could recite the rules by heart. "And Loners eat last!" He said mockingly through bites.

Roan
The brute looking toward the source of the yelp. A bit concerned he stood. But seeing the pack shaman head toward the female, he relaxed and stretched a bit, looking to Sheep now. "How are the food supplies." Bye asked.

Caprice
It took a while of tracking before she found Allfy again. He was munching on a recently killed rabbit. Her brow furrowed at this and she slowly approached. "Did the hunters go out on a rabbit hunt?" She asked, looking towards it. "Looks really fresh, they usually have to drag the big food back and it ends up getting kinda old. They rarely get rabbit even though it's my favorite... Can I have some?" She said, wagging her tail. She was a bit of a chatterbox.

etherain's light yellow eyes darted over to asuka, her head turning in suit to full face her packmate. she jumped slightly in surprise at the brown wolf's acknowledgement. "greetings to you as well, asuka! how have you held up in these recent times?" she said, tilting her head ever so slightly as to imply that "recent times" meant the death of grant, the previous royal male. internally she was grateful to be talking to a higher ranked wolf, it made her feel important even though the pack all talked together at times, no matter the rank. she shifted slightly and moved her paws a bit with unrest. she was worrying slightly if the pack members had heard her yelp when she hit the wood, but she tried to push the thought out of her head.

I sighed, holding back the urge to grieve.
She looked at the fae, "I think we all are just trying to get through it." She barked.
He was a great leader.
She didn't want there to be a replacement.

"Fine", Sheep lifted his head up, "I sent out a small group who came back with some." He shrugged. He sent out smaller patrols every now and then just to keep things in order. "Any trouble on your side of the block then?" referring to the job of managing the rest o the packs behavior and what not.

Allfy almost choked by the sudden appearance of the pup and coughed turning to look at her. This was the pup he almost tripped over on his way here, "Um, uh, yah.. its fresh." he then smiled, "Nabbed It right off them too." He had a cocky cheesy grin, that many others would find a good reason to knock him up side the head for. His muzzle twitched in amusement as the pup kept talking and spilling questions at him, "Aye, calm down. This isn't twenty questions. Slow down. Sure." he tore off a part of the rabbit he hadn't eaten and tossed it to the her.

etherain stared past asuka, not registering fully what the female wolf in front of her had just said until a few seconds later. she shook herself a bit and snapped out of her daze, and replied. "that's true, it has been hard for all of us but we are all strong and will get through it, hopefully." she hadn't meant to add the "hopefully" onto the end of the sentence but she hoped the shaman would not pay mind to it. this bout of universal, or seemingly universal depression throughout the pack would probably pass, even if it took a long time.

Roan
The brute nodded in approval to Sheep's words. He shrugged a bit, looking around nonchalantly at the rest of the courtyard. "It's been alright. I expected a lot more chaos and discord after Grant's death." He paused. "But it's been pretty calm. Or maybe I've just been slacking off too much." He muttered.

Caprice
The little she-pup grinned and took the piece of rabbit meat she'd been given. "Why'd you have to take it?" She asked, tilting her head as she chewed. It was really good and she couldn't help kinda rushing her eating. It wasn't often that she got rabbit, especially this fresh.

"You just haven't waited long enough. Those who have been waiting to pull something, wont mind waiting a couple more days when you aren't suspecting a thing." He corrected sitting down where he was. He was also a little surprised nothing had happened yet, but that didn't mean nothing would happen.

"Why do you talk so much?" He replied to her question with one of his own at first, "Ah just kidding, I don't actually care. I took it cause I wanted it essentially. And its like a challenge. I didn't get caught or seen, I think, so one can report it to Big Bad Roan, who will no doubt punish me for the theft." He said smiling, "Besides, I'm a loner. We eat last, if there is anything worth eating at the end I mean." He said flatly pouting a bit.
