"Yea..." she said seeing stars".. Your right maybe I should take it easy. That hurts like crazy. Hey Sam, about the beach?" she asked.

"yeah id love to go back to the beach" he said as a smile found its way back t his face

She returned his smile the best she could. Zoe tried to stand and wobbled a little and balanced on her left leg.

Sam he stood up with her at her side incase she needed someone to lean on " if you need help ill be here" he said

She really appreciated Sam being there. thanks. she said. Zoe put a little pressure on her ankle and almost collapsed. She put her hands on Sam's shoulders to balance herself again.

She looked down at her paws. Seeing the couple made her feel a little better about the whole fight but she felt bad about it as well. She left the two and trotted back to the cave. Grabbing a knife between her jaws, she ran into the forest. "I'll need new clothes" she said to no one in particular. She searched around. The scent of deer caught her off guard. Tracking the scent, she found it, and killed it. Skinning it roughly, she shifted back to a human, first checking if there was anyone around. Hanging the leather from a tree, she shifted back to a fox and slept under the roots of a large tree, knife under one paw.

Zoe sat down and put her head in her hands. ugh. Why do I always have you hurt myself?!?she said quietly.

"its okay" he said as he crouched down beside her.

No..... no it's not ok. she said looking up at him. i can't just sit in my cave the rest of my life because whenever I try to do something I get hurt. she whispered.

"youll just have to learn to be more careful" he said trying to comfort her
