CrunchyLeaf shoves the furry plant down her throat, not bothering to chew. She stands up, her legs shaking. "Ok, I'm all-" CrunchyLeaf collapses, hacking painfully. The life slowly leaves her eyes as the fuzz of the root chokes her quickly.

K-9 is woken up by the loud coughing of CrunchyLeaf, and just as K-9 gets withing 3 feet he can see that she is unconscious. He sees no one else awake yet, and so he wakes the others up. "Guys! Wake up! CrunchyLeaf is unconscious, not sleeping type, she was loudly coughing!" K-9 yells

CrunchyLeaf twitches, her right paw smacking Brownstreak on the nose. Then she stills, never to move again. Her eye's are still wide open, glassy and lifeless, never to see again.

"No! CrunchyLeaf! My best mate!" BrownStreak kneeled down looking into the eyes of the wolf, the fuzzy plant hanging out of her mouth. "Well, tomorrow will be her burial." BrownStreak said. "We can tell crunchy leaf our goodbyes."

CrunchyLeaf has departed from the clan.

Roadpup calls. Come sleep with me- I have fixed a little something in this cave.
Inside the cave Roadpup is standing on a bed of moss.

But then she heard Brownstreaks cry.

"No time for bed now! Poor Crunchyleaf! We must give her a proper goodbye."
