"Approach." A metallic voice echoed from within the slightly open door leading to a dark dorm room lit only by a computer screen with a trio of red eyes on it.

[Raven Phoenix]

" Eh?" Artemi sat up slowly, unsure of what she heard," Who said that..?" she pondered quietly as she got to her feet.

[<Terminal March>]

"Approach." The voice repeated, a single red eye peering out of the tiny gap between the door and the wall.

[Raven Phoenix]

Artemi stared for a moment, almost going bug-eyed before obeying the order. She padded over, slowing her pace as she neared the door," Hello..?" she called quietly as she nudged the door open some more with her snout, the darkness welcoming as ever.

[<Terminal March>]

The red eye was attached to a camera on a mechanical arm on the ceiling of the small room, with several wires running to the computer on the desk.

[Raven Phoenix]

Artemi looked up, a little bewildered," I assume it's you who called me?" she asked, entering the room fully as she glanced at the robotic.. Uhm.. thing?

[<Terminal March>]

The mechanical limb spoke through a speaker beside the computer. "Precisely." It said, the arm nearing Artemi and scanning her with a grid of infrared lasers. "I am a functional AI designed by the student who lived in this room." He said.

[Raven Phoenix]

Artemi listened intently," I'm Artemi, pleasure to meet your acquaintance. How may I help you?" she sat and curled her tail around her forelegs.

[<Terminal March>]

"You must remove these wires." The AI said. "I am unable to function at full capacity with these wires attached."

[Raven Phoenix]

Artemi made a slight face," Is your creator okay with this? I mean, wouldn't it damage you to lose connection to... whatever those are attached to?"
