Tia frowned at Swift Shadow. "Don't does that. Go sit in corner 'till you is nice," she ordered.

Maple could be heard blubbering something about mean stupid wolves who probably had rabies.

"MEAN STUPID WOLVES WHO HAVE RABIES," Maple screeched at Swift Shadow defiantly.

Tia scowled. "Honey, Swif' Shadow gonna eat me!" she complained.

Maple spat out the moss and sat outside the den wailing. "Lemme in! Lemme in! It's hot out here, lemme in!"

Tia frowned. "So she eat doggies?" she said worriedly. "No s'pose eat new fren'."

"LET ME IN OR I'LL BITE YOU AGAIN," screamed Maple.

Tia growled under her breath, "Hastly's gone, but Swift Shadow's replaced her! She USED to be nice."

Tia frowned. "Will Swif' Shadow kill new fren'?"

Maple scowled. "You're all really mean. Why is nobody saving me from this scary wolf who wants to KILL EVERYONE IN THE UNIVERSE?!"
