Maple was wandering around, sniffling sadly, when she smelled the scent of what she though was other dogs. "Friends!" she gasped, running toward the scent.

Tia grinned. "Decorate, yay!"

Maple barked a greeting to the other 'dogs' she smelled, and now could see too. "Hello! My name is Maple, will you be my friends?"

Maple galloped over to Vini. "Hi! My name is Maple. Will you be my friend?" she said excitedly.

Tia stared suspiciously at Maple. "You look weird. Why are your ears not pointy, like mine? Your ears are laying down and they're all... huge and floppy."

"What's a dog? Do dogs have wings, like us?" asked Tia.

Maple giggled. "What? No, no, no, only birds, butterflies, bugs, and airplanes have wings."
