Leo saw her mother struggling, then neaon yellow surrounded them, although it wasn't the best she could do, it at least protected them.

[Patches.]

The neon yellow energy vanished, resulting in Leo falling to the floor. Her dusky brown tail had a burn at the tip, but that didn't matter. She was glad to be alive.

Leo struggled up. " Mom... are you okay?" she asked, looking to see if Hastly was around.

[Patches.]

Leo limped over, trying to desparetly nudge her up. " No.. no no no!" she cried out.

[Patches.]

Leo was nosing swift shadow. " wake up!" She commanded, tears in her eyes. She was going to kill Hastly, or at least try.

[Patches.]

Leo sat down, letting an eerie howl of grief into the air. She then realized she'd kill Hastly for this.

[Patches.]

Leo stopped howling, instead replaced with whines of joy. " you're alive!" She cheered.

[Patches.]

" where do you think Hastly is?" Leo asked, her voice shaky.

[Patches.]

" I wanna know where she is. I never got a proper greeting." Leo said, looking around
