Quetzal gazed at the ground, somewhat disappointed that this other wolf had known right off where he was from. "I, um... Well, I left them," he said quite simply, shrugging a little but not looking up. "I didn't see eye-to-eye with them. They're... Cruel and vicious. I'm not like that." With a light huff, he shifted his gaze off to the side, watching the horizon with an intent gaze. "I thought about joining another pack," he continued, tone melancholy and low. "But your pack won't accept my element... And the nearest pack that will must be miles and miles away. I don't think I can even walk that far." He took a deep breath, let out a sigh, and blinked slowly at the horizon, a few birds flying around off in the distance.
