Alessa gave a small nod, then put her things back into her knapsack. She got out a notebook.

Maribelle shifts a little in her seat and took out a pencil. She stared at the empty black board.

Rochelle was applying a layer of lip gloss. It slips out of her paws and rolled next to an empty desk behind her.

As Diana prepared to leave the library, book in paw, one of the nastier librarians caught her. Diana was told to shoo and she did. She found a secluded place to draw things, and came up with this: .

He got out his lesson planner, opening it up to the lesson of today. "Alright, today we will be starting some algebra and in that unit will be two-step equations."

Alessa simply tilted her head; he might as well have spoke French. She wrote on the top of the paper: Algebra - Two Step Equations.

"So, we will start out with a basic problem for right now," then he started to write on the board the problem "2x + 5 = -21, what does x stand for?"

Alfred didn't even bother to open his textbook up, "This is way to easy for me." he whispered in a smirk.

Maribelle wrote "Two Step Equations" in her notebook with the date. She then began jotting down the problem. She got the answer "-13".

Rochelle

Rochelle did not bother to write anything but just lazily scribbling down "13".

Alessa scribbled down the problem, then simply stared at it. Due to being hospitalized for years, she had missed out on a lot of subjects. However, she soon attempted to figure out what the x stood for. After a few minutes, she soon doodled, not knowing the answer.

"Alright then," he said after a few minutes "Would anyone like to come up and show how they worked out the problem?"

Alfred just hanged deeper in his seat, playing with his pen since he didn't have a pencil to write with. Wish nudged the dog, smirking since obviously Alfred didn't know the answer.
