Blood noted the the sudden silence, and his nose twitched as he inhaled again, deeply. He smelled more water... he tilted his head slightly, letting his thick raven and crimson mane spill down his back, and broad chest as he knew she was preparing for a fight. Was she challenging him? Or afraid? Or truly testing herself? The crimson and raven male stood up, and wrapped his thick, long tail around his back left leg keeping his pupiless eyes trained on the undergrowth were the concentration of water had just thickened slightly.
'Water elemental....' "I am not trespassing; besides," the creature said, his long fangs flashing as he spoke in a calm, placating, almost tempting manner;
"I am not showing any aggression. So, why are you hiding from me?" Blood finally pounced on the question he truly wanted answer, his deep voice ringing clear over the undergrowth.
Why was she hiding from him? Why did every wolf? the giant pondered as he awaited her reply... or attack.
