Dakota looked up "We are a bit hard to love" she explained sitting next to her brother.

Flame looked at his sister Hard to love He chuckled and looked around for Jacob.

Jacob smelled the air it didn't smell like the pup anymore he padded back to their territory and sat quietly

"How far do we have to go?" Spirit asked in a muffled tone. " mom!! Elk." Ryla yelled as a heard of bulls ran across their path.

Mara sighed, "We were all pups once, this might be just a little act of defiance" She murmured absentmindedly following Omens scent. It led her to a small bushel and that's where the scent undoubtedly stopped. But after searching the area there was no sign of the pup. "He must have covered up his scent so we wouldn't find him" Mara guessed frowning slightly.

"Hard to love?" He repeated with a questioning look. Omen draped his furry tail around his paws as he waited for a reply. As far as he could tell all the wolves seemed to be decent wolves. They hadn't hurt him nor been rude with him.

~Haythem~
"Defiance towards what?" Haythem muttered as he continued to follow the scent. When it came to an abrupt end he stopped. The alpha stuck his nose to the ground and air trying to pick up on the scent once more. His ears bent back at Mara's words. "No he's a smart pup but not that smart yet. Besides he wouldn't have left his scent this far. Something is wrong" he repeated his expression growing serious. "We have to find him now!" He said practically growling the words.

Mara nodded, "Please don't listen me, I don't know what I'm saying" She said backing up. Mara backed up until she was in the line of where the scent was. He must have went this way, Mara padded calmly forward to the area in which the scent faded. She backed up again staring at the ground with intense concentration, Mara pointed her muzzle forward narrowing her eyes. "I think I can try to hear for him, or get an aerial eye view.." She murmured perking her ears up. She stood like that for a few moments, then suddenly reared back almost falling over herself. "Tune it down! My ears!" Mara shrieked shaking her head trying to paw at her ears. "It won't stop! Owwwww! Crap, I don't want to, sensitive.." She could feel her body start to morph. Mara knew she was probably the only shifter to experience pain while shifting, sometimes it was just a slight pain but other times it could be excruciating. Mara couldn't stop, she wanted to but couldn't. She hoped Haythem didn't think less of her after this, this was the first time she ever showed anyone her entire form. It was quite pathetic, she was cursed with this. Passed down by her mother, Mara could already feel the wings rip through her shoulder blades. Mara let out a painful yelp but it ended up coming out as a muffled screech. Before she knew it Mara was in her full bat form, she let out an Inaudible click. Mara squeaked a few times before flapping her little wings furiously, she was flustered and nervous. Please don't kill me.. Please don't kill me.. Mara prayed flopping around hopelessly. She couldn't see but her hearing was back to normal much less enhanced. Mara could hear a lot better and the pain was gone but at what cost?

Midnight

Midnight when for a walk in the forest because she was so bored. She stumbled upon a wolf that was limping along." Are you ok " she backed up a little just in case she was scared. " am not going to hurt you " she didn't show that she was hurt too because if she was evil then they would see she is week. " what pack are you from or are you a loner " she new that she was not from shadow pack.

~Haythem~
Haythem sniffed around trying to rematch the scent or at least gain some clues as to where Omen had gone. It was only when he heard Mara start acting strangely that he turned around to look at her. He wasn't sure what was happening but remained silent since it appeared that her ears were hurting. He watched completely dumb founded as she shifted right before his eyes. It almost looked as if the shift was painful. My siblings never had such an issue with shifting. How strange. I'll have to ask about it later. Seeing a small bat flopping around helplessly where the wolf once stood Haythem stared at it curiously for some time. It wasn't like he didn't realize it was Mara, it was just odd. A few minutes passed before he finally stepped closer. Gently he dropped his snout down to the bats level where he took a long sniff of the bat.

~Diego~
"It shouldn't be much longer now" Diego replied. The wolf stopped as a herd of elk crossed the path before him. He didn't dare try to hunt one since he wanted the pups to stay safe.

Dakota looked up "look kid not everything in this world is love" she said looking at him she perked her ears and sniffed the air her eyes went from soft china orange to hard blazing orange.

Flame muttered swears a shifter ."kid we have to hide you you will be safe with us" he moved a rock and under was a hole he indicaded for the pup to go i.

Jacob growled and felt his heart skip a beat. What was a shifter doing here.

"How would you know if you've never felt it?" Omen replied. "Hide me but why?" He repeated looking at the hole Flame was talking about. Omens thoughts automatically thought of shifter pack which would mean nothing but trouble. Reluctantly he made his way to the hole he indicated.
