She slunk back to camp and slunk into her den, her head on her paws as she silently cried. How could she have been so stupid, how could she have thought that she meant anything to this pack? how could she have even entertained the hope that Streak would consider her for a mate? so many others that are more pretty, more helpful, more useful. she decided that instead of professing her love for him, like she had planned on, she would just tell him that she is leaving.

She stalked closer to the deer, trying to be as quiet as possible.

"Red." He responded in a courteous tone, "what brings you here?"

Fallon eyed the brute curiously. He had never sent his male before and was unsure whether to trust him or not. "I'm out hunting for my pack" he replied simply.

-History- Midnight's mother died when she was only 6 months old. She had too survive on her own because her father had left when she was born. She fought for survival, though she was happy being a loner she stumbled across a pack. Midnight had slowly gone from happy to sad about being alone, she wanted a family. The pack allowed her to join and she had been with them ever since.
-Personality- Midnight is a feisty, lone wolf kind of girl. She does't need anyone though it's a nice perk to have other wolves.

Mara watched the brute falter, he was now unbalanced. She smiled slightly but it slowly turned into a frown as he stayed down, did she harm him? Mara made sure not to use her claws, maybe she was being to harsh. Mara watched the brute carefully, he was very calculating.. Maybe he's thinking. Mara was about to attack again when she felt a bit of guilt, this wasn't going to be a fair fight if the brute stayed down. But she may not get another chance, Mara shook her head. That wasn't the honorable thing to do, but maybe he was just waiting for a chance. A chance to take her down, Mara's smile returned slowly. Then she'll just have to tread lightly, Mara began circling the male trying to detect any sign of weakness. His head was down, maybe she could attack from the back? No. He would expect that and counter her attack. Mara needed to be ready for anything, this was not going to be easy.

The silvery brute noted she simply watched him, but frowned as if she actually seemed to worry. For some reason, that one word jumped out at the brute and he resisted the urge to snap. If you see someone down in battle, do not hesitate to attack or finish it! I do not care if it is a spar match or not. Worry... worry..... worry in battle will bring you nothing but your own blood shed! How would she? the brute thought, his single blue eye rolling in his head out of sheer disbelief, although it looked rather bad from the outside; like he was passing out. When his eye finally got back to center, he noted her still hesitating, but smiling now. So she seems to prefer the defensive- Very well.

Varien kept his head low, although he angled it so he could see her easier. The brute shifted, once again keeping her on his left side so he would have a clear view of the fae. She has much potential; she may be rather defensive and emotional at times, but she is thinking; more than the other wolves. A good sign, as long as she stays concentrating on defeating me at all costs. Nothing less. The silvery brute stopped once behind her, and reared onto two's slamming his forepaws into her hindquarters. Let's see how well you fight, up close.

Star shook her head, "No I'm not really hungry anymore...just tired..." she licked the side of Shadows muzzle, " Thank you for everything....." she said softly closing her eye.

"Alright then.... rest.... don't let me bother you with my meaningless ranting," the brute murmured, feeling his heart jump as she licked the side of his muzzle. "Your welcome," the shadowy brute whispered into her ear, giving her a quick nuzzle before standing up and limped to the den entrance. I am running low on herbs; I need to fetch some whenver I can find the time, the brute thought, sitting at the entrance and thinking about his future. I cannot abide contact, and being around other wolves yet I wish I could be sleep with Star right now. What is changing? Darkest thought, gazing at Star dozing peacefully before turning and gazing outside.

Mara gritted her teeth as she felt two paws hit her backside. That hurt, but she wasn't gonna give him the satisfaction of hearing her yelp. Mara fought to control herself, she growled quietly but quickly clamped her mouth shut. Keep calm, now prove to him your worthy. Mara kept her claws sheathed, her victory was not having to use her claws. It was not using her shifter form, it was being herself. Mara turned and barreled at the brute slamming into his side, do not show weakness.. Show that your not afraid.
