"How about we start off with ranks." Fawnstar asked.

"Okay," said Sundrop, looking at Fawnstar. "What shall we name the ranks?"

[spooky,]

"Since you, well, lead, then how about the rank of leader? And since Polarpool does healing and herbs, maybe Medicine cat?" Icewhisker mewed.

[Aries .]

"Yes, yes, and we will need someone just beneath you to lead if you've gone off somewhere. Oh, what do humans call those... Deputies?" She suggested, and inquisitive look on her face.

Sundrop nodded in agreement, and looked at Icewhisker. <Great idea!> he sent to her through telepathy. He looked at Polarpool, and sent her through telepathy <That makes sence!> "What about a rank for cats like us, Icewhisker and I?" he asked, sort of confused.

[spooky,]

"Well we fight and hunt, so... Warriors?" Icewhisker mewed.

[Aries .]

"That sounds about right," Polarpool said. She then thought a bit. "what about those too young to handle hunting and fighting alone? And those even younger, too young to leave their mother's care?" She questioned, cocking her head slightly. "And the mothers of those young, there's no way they can fight and hunt while maintaining a litter of kits," she said, pausing once again before finished. "and those too old to protect and provide for the clan."

"Well, as we call our children kits, kits would fit perfectly for the young. But the others I don't know..." Sundrop purred, happy he helped.

Fawnstar smiled, her new pride was going to be successful. "All great ideas! Maybe for those to young to leave their mothers care could be kits. Short for kittens. And the elderly could be, well, elders. But I don't know what we should call the cats in training. Trainees? No... Learners, Students.... No no no. What about apprentices? Yes...That sounds about right." Fawnstar stood up, and sent telepathic messages to everyone. <So it shall be.> Fawnstar thought for a moment, then smiled. "That should be the saying for endings in our meetings. We can be the founders. Icewhisker and Sundrop can both be deputy. Icewhisker, you can be Deputy of Battle, and Sundrop, you can be Deputy of the Hunt."

Sundrop grinned, enjoying his new title. "We are the founders, the original, the beginners. We shall succeed." he said, tipping his head.
