Ripple shrugged, having heard Chell's plans with Tsume. "She's all right, hun."

The male chuckled. "Good. I can feed, and kill my useless little brother in one fell swoop. Although I must admit, she is pretty."

Regis lowered his head, taking a deep breath before unfurling beautiful dark wings from his sides, narrowing his eyes at the male. "Over my dead body, Luc."

Runa saw regiss wings and sge gasped she was behind him and she was shaking

"Yes, they would." he said, nuzzling her. "When I claim you as my mate, they won't hesitate to accept you."

Ripple nuzzled his cheek lightly, then squeaked a litle as she felt the pups within move.

In a flash, regis and his brother tangled viciously for but a moment, snarling angrily. Then he was thrown back, but with a flutter of feathers, he landed lightly. His eyes glowed like a thing posessed, as he protected what was his.
