Tabitha walked through the entryway to the tomb of the Lady Queen, noting her absence and deciding to head out of the pyramid and into the town to see how much change had occurred in the past few years. There were still tents, and still people in the old garb. She had seen the grave robber, but, though she'd never tell the Queen so, she had spoken to the- Archaeologist? Yes, that's what it was. She had found Archie with all his strange vernacular to be quite kind, but somewhat mislead. He had believed that by removing the gems from the tomb and placing them in a museum, he would gain the queen some form of respect. Well, that was against the ancient customs, but the man was honest, and that was something.
Tabitha watched carefully as she said a quick prayer to Isis, and walked out of the entrance, curtsying at the guards and smiling. She walked briskly down the steps, and in to town. She stopped at a shop, and admired the wonderful dresses, and hoped that someone would stop to talk to her on this hot day.
