Halley was walking down the street, and saw the burned tree."What the heck?"

Alessa and the pups saw Halley. "Another classmate?" muttered Cybil. "Shut up..." scowled Alessa, "I don't know." "Testy..." mumbled Cybil. Alessa went outside and the pups followed her. "It's a long story..." said Cybil, "Who are you? And how come you're loitering?" Alessa sighed some and frowned. "Sorry, uh... she doesn't have much of a filter." Cybil glared at her. The other pups went to the tree and frowned. "Aw man..." mumbled Rebecca, "No more outside napping..."

[Dandelion-Harvest]

As Shandy exited the house, he saw somebody in their yard. Soon he saw them too. "this a friend of yours?" he asked Alessa as he turned around.

[Boomer]

Alessa shook her head. "No, I've never met her." she said. Cybil bobbled her head, then looked at Shandy. "See, true love!" she yipped, "He came back for you!" Alessa glared at Cybil and nudged her towards the house. "We're not in love and he's not my boyfriend!" she scowled, "Go inside and bother Carter." Cybil stuck out her tongue and stayed where she was.

"HUH?" Shandy was surprised by this interruption from Cybil. he always teased Carve about his girlfriend, but It was different when he was partially the one being teased. "d-did I miss something?"

"I'm Halley. I was walking down the street, then i saw the tree and wondered how it got burned. I've never met these canines before." Halley stepped back. She lowered her head and pursed her lips, that was embarrassing. "I know I missed something." She said, agreeing with Shandy.

[Boomer]

"No, Cybil is just being dumb..." mumbled Alessa, "She thinks we're 'in love' or something." "What?" whined Cybil, "You two would be cute together!" "You don't know what that kind of love is..." grumbled Alessa, "And you shouldn't know until you're a lot older." Cybil looked at the other pups and flicked her tail. "C'mon guys, let's leave the lovebirds alone..." she said, giving a look to Alessa. Alessa glared at Cybil as she led the pups inside. She looked over at Halley and frowned. "Ah well, it got struck by lightning... it wasn't a good scene, so good thing you did miss it." she murmured.

Halley laughed, "Well ok."

[Boomer]

Alessa slightly flattened her ears and glanced to the side. "Y-yeah..." she murmured. She cleared her throat and sighed some. "I uh... so, how about that prom?" she asked weakly, not really sure how to change the subject. She didn't want to tell about her episode that she had, and she didn't want to constantly remind Shandy of it.
