As the next blast of thunder blared in his ears he flinched. As he went outside, he noticed Alessa slipped out too. "shouldn't you be inside?" he asked as a another bolt of lightning struck.

[Boomer]

"I uh... I have to calm down." she said, a little panicked. She was starting to go into a flashback, but a boom of thunder prevented her from doing so. She rested her head on her paws and frowned. "She didn't know not to mention that word around me..." she said quietly, "She's just a pup. But, it still frightens me. It's been seven months since then, but it still bothers me greatly..." Alessa looked at Shandy, then cleared her throat. "I shouldn't be ranting, you've got to go home." she said softly, "Be careful out there, okay? Maybe you can stop by another time... you're really nice."

[Dandelion-Harvest]

"Uhh, alright if you say so. Just don't-" he was cut off as a bolt of lightning hit a tree (the same tree he hit the rock against) which caused it to catch on fire and fall in front of them. Shandy was temporarily deafened by the noise, and flinched back.

[Boomer]

Alessa's eyes changed and she stood there, too afraid to move. Flashbacks flooded her mind, and even though she wasn't being burned, she yelped and cried as if she was. Maria rushed outside and whined, noticing Alessa, then the fire. She barked and carried on, until Carter and Jacques heard her. They looked out their windows and saw the fire. They rushed downstairs after getting buckets of water. They splashed it on the tree, hoping to put the fire out rather quickly.

While Jacques got the hose on and sprayed down the tree, Carter got Alessa from behind and carried her inside. She fought against him, clawing and biting at his arms. Carter reached into his pocket and pulled out her muzzle. He forced Alessa onto the ground and struggled to get the muzzle on. She was building up an orb of energy, ready to attack. Thankfully the orb disappeared when the muzzle was fastened onto her head. He took her upstairs.

[Dandelion-Harvest]

Shandy finally regained his hearing, just to hear screaming in his ear, he was unsure what to do. between the hose and the rain, the fire went out fairly quickly, but Shandy felt uneasy and for the first time in eleven years, he was scared, he figured it would be best if he just tried to go home. He made sure he was going in the right direction, and started to walk home, which was easier said than done, with the wind blowing in all sorts of different directions, he spent most of his energy trying to stay upright.

[Boomer]

Jacques sighed, finally getting the fire out. He finally noticed Shandy and watched him leave. He went back inside to tell Maria's human what had happened.

Alessa was put into her crate and she wildly threw herself against the sides of the crate, trying to escape. She howled and snarled. Carter got a bucket of cold water and threw it on her, trying to snap her out of it. Alessa coughed and sputtered some, but continued to snarl and carry on. He seemed a bit weary, but he prepared a syringe to sedate her. He soon went to her crate and pulled on her leg until he was able to stick her with the needle. She yelped some and tried to back up, even after the needle was pulled out. The medicine soon took its effect and she calmed down.

[Dandelion-Harvest]

Shandy was having a hard time making it one block, much less half a mile. The wind was blowing him all over, he had to use one paw to keep his scarf on, and that unbalanced him, making him scrape his knees multiple times.

[Boomer]

Maria noticed Shandy and frowned. "Poor kid..." she said. She got up and followed after him, trying to keep up. "Y'know!" she barked, soon reaching him, "You're a tough kid! I think it'd be best to wait the storm out! Maybe you can help calm Alessa down too!"
OOC: Ack, sorry for the short reply. I'm gonna get some food, brb.
