"Sure, why not. No reason to kick the others out though, remember I live with about 30 people." Shandy was happy the people around here were so friendly, he didn't get out much and this was a nice change of pace

[Boomer]

"Alright, hopefully you like Tom and Jerry, then..." she said, leading him up onto the porch, "That's all they ever watch." She slipped through the dog door, then sat, waiting. The pups turned and watched, a bit interested. "Is your boyfriend coming in?" teased Cybil. "Aren't you due for your shots?" quipped Alessa. Cybil's expression changed and the pups laid down.

"tom and Jerry is just fine compared to what I have to watch sometimes" he said and he followed her. As he heard Cybil's teasing, he knew his lifelong question had been answered; normal kid's siblings were just as annoying as his cousins. It made him happy to know he wasn't the only one.

[Boomer]

Alessa hopped onto the couch and the pups cleared a spot for Shandy. "Maybe we do and maybe we don't..." said Cybil after thinking about it. "If you're not annoying, I won't bother Carter." murmured Alessa, "Just watch some cartoon violence." The pups turned their attention back to the TV. "I swear they've seen every episode..." said Alessa, glancing to Shandy, "I'd say they could quote every episode too, but they don't really talk."

"yea, I don't get to watch this kinda thing very often, one of my aunts says those kinda shows rot your brain, and the younger kids always get the tv using their evil mind powers to brainwash the adults." Shandy replied

[Boomer]

"Ah... Mary and Maria doesn't really care what they watch, as so long it's not too violent." she said, "I liked this show, but it's boring since I've watched a ton of episodes." The pups giggled when Tom would be hurt by Jerry. They seemed happy to be with Alessa. They slowly laid closer and closer to her and Shandy. They were still focused on the TV, until the power started to go out. Alessa looked outside and noticed a storm was brewing outside. "Oh man..." she said quietly.

Shandy looked at his wrist watch. " well my cousins should have made it back by this point, and I'm pretty sure I could make it home alright, so I should probably go now before it gets worse"

[Boomer]

"Okay, if it gets really bad, feel free to come back." she said, getting up. The pups frowned some as they got up. Alessa walked to the door and sat down. It started to pour and the pups jumped when they heard a boom of thunder. Soon after, Mary and Maria had returned home, sopping wet. They shook themselves dry, then sat to lick the rest of the water off. Maria saw Shandy, then looked at Alessa. "You've been getting a lot of friends lately..." she murmured. "Y-yeah, uh, Shandy was going..." she said. "Are you sure?" asked Mary, "It's looking very ugly out there."

"I've been through worse.....ish, I'll be fine" Shandy tried to act confident, but there was a downside to having such good hearing, everything was much more sensitive to his ears, and he was not looking forward to walking half a mile to get home in a thunderstorm.

[Boomer]

"If you insist." she said softly, looking over at him. Alessa flicked her tail and slowly nodded. "Well um... I guess I'll see you later." she said, "Good luck getting home, Shandy." The pups rushed to their mother when they heard another boom of thunder. They clung onto their mothers and shivered some, clearly frightened. The lights soon went out and Maria sighed. "Great..." she mumbled, "We get to sit in the dark." "What about the firepla-?" asked Cynthia, but Mary covered the pup's mouth. "No dear..." she said. Alessa flattened her ears some and soon slipped outside.
