" I suppose we could sit down, those are a lot of stairs, here, sit down next to fay, the worst she could do is try to suck on your arm"" Shandy said gesturing towards the baby, who was still making baby noises.

Alessa sat next to the baby, then winced. "There's blood, isn't there?" she asked, not looking at her leg. She looked at Fay, so she wouldn't faint.

"just don't look at your leg, here" Shandy gave her fay's rattle "shake it an fay will sing"

"She can sing?" she asked, "Talented kid..." She took the rattle and started to shake it. "C'mon, entertain me so I don't faint, Fay..." she said.

"she cant do words but she can do tunes" He said as she started baby talking in the tune of ring and the rosy, clearing enjoying this game.

Alessa relaxed a little, then sighed. "Can you grab a towel?" she asked, "We can clean up the blood, then we can go." She continued to shake the rattle. She then petted Fay.

"yea" Shandy said, but clearly Fay had other ideas, she lunged onto his lap, refusing to get off and repeating "oooaaaa, ooooooaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh" over and over. "this is why I hate kids" Shandy said as he took his pan flute out from his backpack "I gotta play her a song otherwise she'll start crying and never stop, what's your favorite?" Shandy asked as fay squealed in excitement

"I uh... don't know." she murmured quietly. She gave Fay her rattle back, then flicked her tail. She slightly winced in pain and stared at the ceiling.
