Shadow placed her torch on the ground and looked around. "I don't see anyone who might've clawed you." She scented a stronger egg scent. "The egg is near here..."

"Maybe the attacker backed off when you came with a torch." Thunder muttered. "There's a scratch on my side to prove it"

Shadow glanced at the scratch. "Ouch. You okay?" She checked. "I'll keep digging and find that attacker." She dug her claws in the earth and pulled a chunk out.

"It's not deep" then she froze when she heard a scraping sound

Shadow paused her digging. She listened intently to where the scraping sound was coming from.

"It's coming from the tunnel" Thunder hissed

Shadow backed away from the tunnel. She peered in the tunnel, squinting in the darkness.

A bunch of weasels came in
"Weasels! That wasn't my attacker!" Thunder swiped one aside

Shadow started towards the tunnel and padded in, the shadows engulfing her black scales. "I'll see if I can find the egg and your attacker." She called.

Thunder knocked another weasel away "there's too much!"
