He sees the whole thing happen. He stops in front of Midnight.

Moonlight sees her old mate. She walks towards him and stands by Death. "Leave our territory now!" she growls, clinging onto his back.

Midnight:
he turns into a shadow of a tree closer to moon and farther from the others

Death keeps track of his scent, he can see the outline of Midnight,

midnight:
he goes back to his empty pack

moon:
"ha" she says putting on the collar her fur changing from black the black and white
