Fyre scented the air. She was on the trail of a herd of deer, and she smelled weak ones. She watched them from a bush. She prepared to jump. She sprang, and landed on the back of a small young one, who was trailing behind. She sunk her fangs into its neck, hearing it squeal in pain. She dragged her kill into a bush and began to eat.

Arco hid in the shadows, the darkness shrouding him in a natural camouflage. He sniffed around, spotting some animals nearby.
