Allita smiled. "Years later, the wolves found themselves in need. A flood had left them stranded on an island. The great wolf Assana was old at this point, and no longer had the strength to creat a passage through the water, or carry the wolves on wind. The new princess had not yet learned how to fully control he elements.
The hawks never forgot the kind gift the wolves ha given them. They heard of the wolves' trouble, and after discussion, they teamed up with the snowy owls to help the wolves. The snowy owls had control over the ice and snow. Unfortunately, being birds, they were unable to build a suitable bridge for the wolves. The only one that would be able to build a bridge strong enough would be the princess. So the Hawks and Owls cast their special powers at the same time, to give the power of Ice to the princess. She formed the bridge, saved the pack, and wolves have had the power of Ice ever since."

{Very sorry for my inactivity. I'll assume that since Midnight is talking to someone else that the hunting party disassembled. And I just realized that Sheila is probably the oldest wolf here lol}

The omega wolf, now lingering behind to watch Midnight drag the deer back to camp and soon disappear into the shady foliage, decided that her temporary job as huntress was now over. So, with a simple nod of farewell to Dream Catcher (Midnight had seemed to carry off the prey on her own so there was no need to help), she figured a walk was in order and began to trot away into the forest depths. With one blind eye, her other senses were partically heightened, so many distant sound and smells sailed on the wind into her nose and ears as she felt the mulch-like soil that caked the ground sift between her paws. The intllegent wolf enjoyed walks like this- even if she rarely ever knew where she was going- for they provided her with the peaceful silence required to fully plunge herself into thought. She was vaguely aware of the Dark Pack wolves' scents only a good few lengths away, though as long as she made sure to stay on Light Pack turf, she was free to wander as close to the border as she wanted. Thoughts of the future crossed her mind; when will be the next time their lovely moon decided to take her backward or forward in time again? What hardships might the winter bring? What surprises- good or bad- will be faced? As a time travler, she couldn't help but let her curious mind ponder these things. The autumn air hung cool; a pleasant breeze ruffling her brown, black and white fur. Ah, solitude.

Logi forked tongue sensed warmth of a another wolf. He smirked and walked over to where the wolf was.

Nix tasted the air with his snake-like tongue, detecting a fellow pack member. Since his sense of smell was dulled due to his power, he was unsure who he had located.
