I notice Calamity watching me and stiffen as I hear someone behind me. Slowly and silently, I turn to see who it is. I start to form a small fireball in my hand when I see the dragon, but realize Victor's with her and stop. Taking a deep breath, I look back at the other group, quietly stepping out from behind the trees.

Darvesh aimed his bow at the bushes, staying alert.

Arketá's humming quieted until she was silent, and she shifted her green gaze over to Victor. "How can you shift? Is it in your nature to shift, or is it magic?" She blinked and stood, following Victor back to the rebel camp.

Victor shrugged. "At first it was a mix of both but I have practically mastered a human form. It is in my breed I guess because it is pretty simple for me to do it though." He said. He listened to Arketá's hum fade out.

The pirate held his gun into the air, shattering any silence in the near by area as he fired a shot off into the air.

"WE HAVE ONE OF YOURS, REBELS! COME COLLECT YOUR PROPERTY!"

(I have Karasu open, but Lupin should probably deal with Gok, Calamity, & Darvesh right now. They have Kaoru.)


Karasu flew in the opposite direction of the gunshot. She didn't want to be anywhere near it.

Cypher rushed into the tent where Micah and Noah were. He passed by Emberfrost, but was too distracted to meet her. "Hey, did you hear that??" he asked the brothers, hoping they would go with him to help the captive rebel get free.

Jay perked his ears at the sound of a gunshot. He snarled at the air and broke into a sprint towards the direction of the rebels camp, unaware that anyone else lived in the forest. (He's in a wolf form)

Emberfrost jumped down into the camp center from her tree, grabbed her knives, and rushed into the tent. "Did you hear that?" she breathed, her blue eyes wide.

Noah tensed up as the two rushed in and his hand went immediately to his bow. "I heard, I'm coming." He rushed out of the tent and reached down for his quiver. "C'mon guys, Micah, wake up."

Micah started out of his reverie and jumped up. "I just thought it was a tree falling over.. I'm coming." He had put his hand on his belt, it's what he always did when he was scared, but he lifted it away now and went out of the tent as well.

Cypher was startled by the blue-eyed satyr who had also rushed into the tent. Now that he was noticing her, he thought she was very pretty. However, there was no time to be crushing on Emberfrost. He quickly found his backpack and got out the knife that Micah had given him.

Victor jumped as he saw Riley. He didn't think he was that close to camp. He wanted to run to her and ask her what she was doing until I saw te farmiliar faces of our previous meeting.

I glance at Victor, then back at the king's soldiers. "What do you want here?" I ask, eyeing the girl Gok was holding threateningly.
