"That's one way to do it." Darvesh chuckled.

Aya was flying from tree to tree, staying close. She was still pouting that no one had heard what she said earlier. "You know, I already found where they're hiding." she grumbled.
Darvesh blinked in surprise. "And you didn't say this earlier?" he asked his pet.

"I did, and none of you heard me. You idiots never listen to me... But it doesn't matter now." the falcon said. She looked at Gok. "We're getting close. I'm sure they heard you."

"WHAT?!"

Gok barked as he turned his gaze upward to the source of the new voice, obviously unhappy with the news it came with.

"If you've known this entire time why not speak up you impotent bird?!"

He was practically gritting his teeth as he attempted to quell his temper, once again turning his head forward to the forest before them.

"Have we at least been walking in the right direction, or did you tell us that right out of hearing range as well?"

"Sheesh, it's not my fault you ignored me." Aya grumbled.
"Now isn't the time to complain about being ignored." Darvesh said, "Why didn't you say it again??"
"Because I'm used to it. Watching you three walk around with no clue where you're going made me feel better." she smirked.

I look up when I hear a gunshot, coming from somewhere nearby. Getting up quickly, I quietly make my way through the woods to where the sound had come from. What's going on now I ask myself and stop dead in my tracks when I see the familiar shadow that Victor and I had faced earlier.

Cypher was sitting under a tree, bored out of his head. He jumped to his feet at the sound of a gunshot, and heard Gok's loud yelling.

"Later, I'm going to eat you, bird. I'm going to pluck your feather a--"

The pirate abruptly stopped as his head suddenly darted to his side. A shadow moving among the trees out of the corner of his eye. He stood as still as could be, practically frozen as his stern stare desperately searched among the foliage for something to make itself known."

"Darvesh... Give me the girl..."

His voice was low, almost a growl as he held his arm out toward him, as if requesting to be handed a simple item.

I watch the group silently, staying hidden behind a tree with my hand down at my side. My heart races, wishing that there were more rebels around, in case this becomes a fight.

(Seeing your guys' lovely, long posts makes me feel like a failure at rping.... )

Darvesh handed Kaoru over to Gok. Also having heard the noise, he pulled an arrow from his quiver.

Calamity grinned as she saw the movement in the trees. She heard others coming, but didn't tell Gok that yet. Her eyes flickered slightly as she watched the person in the trees

Arketá grabbed the collar of Victor's shirt and threw him onto her back for the time being, as she knew he could shift. She darted off towards the sound of the gunshot and skidded to a stop when she saw a girl there already. Keeping quiet, she crept forwards and stopped a yard behind the girl.

Gok snatched the servant girl from Darvesh without even bothering to see what he was grabbing, placing the girl on her knees in front of him, he kept her upright by grasping a fistful of hair on the back of her head, simultaneously drawing his cleaver from his hip.

"If you're hiding, we will find you! If we find you, this entire process is going to be a lot more unpleasant."

He called out to whomever may be hiding among the trees, waiting for a moment for them to respond.

"We're here to negotiate, not fight. But, we can gladly change our priorities if you don't cooperate."
