Midnight thought for a moment. "I don't know....." she said. "But she loves me and cares for me."

Eve stared at the horse for a couple more seconds, turned and looked at the woods behind her, and turned back. "I'm going back to my den now..." she said awkwardly.

"Ok. And I should get back to my pasture." She said. "My owner will be looking for me soon." She said and tunred around. She galloped back and jumped back over the fence.

Darkenss looked around helplessly. "Help... Please!" He wailed. He crawled over to the lake, drinking from it. He layed there, trying to find an animal. Darkness had no idea they might not give him food.
