He flies around the forest, the fire that covers his body wasn't hot enough to start any fires, he was able to control the temperature of his fire so he doesn't start a crazy forest fire. Rickon spots a rat and swoops down, grabbing it up in his talons and flying up into a nice sized tree. The phoenix knows the young dragon is below him, but ignores her, what he doesn't know is that Calliope was close by as well.

Sapphire


Looks up and hisses agin seeing a giant flying fire bird. She only knew of dragons, she never learned about the other creatures in the forest. She sniffed the air watching the bird. Her eyes with big and her tail swished back and forth. Her ears were down scared. Her claws were stuck into the ground, she didn't know what to expect.

Calliope

Calliope ruffled her wings up after the spotted a mouse down below, a nice snack to drive off her hunger for a bit. She folded her wings close and dove down. As she descended, she saw something that made her stop. It was another phoenix! She spread her wings out and landed jarringly on a branch just below him. "Hello there, wow, I never knew there were others in the forest." She chirruped to him, studying him.

He was about to eat his rat, but Calliope's sudden appearence makes him pause. He watches her land on the branch and holds back a chuckle at her rather bad landing. Rickon straightens up from where he was leaning over to dig into his rat, his wings flick out a bit and then settles back down, "I knew there were others, I just kept away from them." He lets his eyes trail over her, judging her strengths and possible weaknesses, it was a natural reaction for him.

Calli nodded, suddenly noticing that he had a rat that he was probably about to eat. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt your meal.." She trailed off, fidgeting slightly in embarrassment, both from that and from her poor landing.

He chuckles a little and drops the rat down to her branch, "I've already had three, you can have this one." He picks some fur off his talons and looks around, "Besides, I like rabbit better." Rickon's head turns a little and he suddenly drops from his branch and returns with a young rabbit, only half the size of an adult.

watches from the grass. She doesn't move a muscle afraid that they would see her. She watches as one catches a rabbit, she licked her lips hungrily and sniffs the air inching closer, her hunger getting he best of her. Her ears were flat on her head as she moved one foot infront of the other
