Kovu snarled as he stood up from his spot where he fell. His shoulder had several land, deep gashes from where the other dragons claws had caught hold of him. Not as bad as what he got. He thought as he walked away from the battleground where they fought and the near dead dragon.

His eyes narrowed and he gasped at the sudden pain from his stomach. He looked down and saw another gash a bit longer then the ones on his shoulder. He soon roared in pain from the wound that seemed to never stop bleeding.
