Smallpaw squeaked with surprise as the dog broke free and when Pinepaw grabbed her scruff. She got to her paws and darted off, looking for somewhere to hide when she saw an old badger mound, the hole was large enough for them to get in and small enough that the dog would have to leave. "There!" she mewed, swerving towards the old mound.

"Aww..." mewed Shinekit, looking up at his foster father. "At least I'll come back, right?"

Lionfrost put more bramble in the barricade, being careful of Lightpaw and Runningheart and being sure she didn't trip them with the long strands.

Sol purred and licked the kits head.

Pinepaw kept going, eyes wide and no control of his body.

Runningheart purred as she almost tripped.

"PINEPAW!" yowls Smallpaw, snarling and attacking the dog's face, claws outstretched. She slashed it's muzzle.

Lionfrost mews "You alright Runningheart?"

Shinepaw purred as his head was licked by Sol. "Thank you for letting me stay here, Sol."

Lightpaw flicked her tabby striped tail at him and grinned. Though her pelt was white tabby, she was the spitting image of Mistyleaf.

Runningheart looked at Lightpaw, he knew exactly who her mother was but said nothing. "Yes I'm fine, Thanks Lionfrost."

Pinepaw's eyes widened he quickly slashed at the dogs throat and grabbed Smallpaw up agian, he ran as fast as he could until he list the dog.

Sol looked at Shinekit. "You must go with Silverheart so you don't get hurt."
