The shining egg was hidden behind a waterfall out of sight, it was in a nest made out of smoldering coals that were put there a few days before the mother or father left the egg. It shook a bit then stopped, it was about to hatch soon and the coals were not gonna be giving off enough heat to keep it warm and alive till then.

Angeni saw the waterfall and went to investigate, she poked her head in and saw the cave, she didn't notice the egg

The egg moved again and it glowed brightly, after a few seconds it stopped and the lite simmered down
