Storm finally got to the camp, his fur white with snow. Now would be the perfect time to snatch a pup, or better yet: to sneak away with a pack member willing to leave. Then it hit him: Cody! He was a very nice wolf, and it would be a nasty surprise to the pack if he left. Storm made up his mind, and started heading for the warrior den.

Cody looked up as he heard someone say his name. "What pack?" His ears had gone forward in interest as soon as the word 'beta' was spoken. He flicked his tail, wanting more information. Being the beta would be amazing, let alone someday becoming alpha. He had often dreamed of becoming beta when he was a pup. Yes it has been snowy and they would be smart to do it in the winter. Yes your right we do need more pups now more than ever but there isn't meat to feed the mouths that we do now. It makes sense that you wouldn't want a mate right now you have to much to think about as it is. He said blushing slightly. "I'd like a mate one day." He said softly and then instantly regretting it.
