Mara: *doesn't seem to realize another creature is present as she begins to dig at the roots of the plant, pulling them up and biting some of them off, then laying them on a large leaf she had found earlier and bundling them up, picks up the bundle and looks around, ears twitching*

Kumori's ear twitched in amusement that the animal hadn't noticed her. She followed Mara and sope up finally, "Have you any idea how to survive on your own? Dear goodness, I could have just now killed you." Kumori scoffed and looked at her work, "What are you doing anyways?"

Sebastian minded his own business. He ran into the dark wolf earlier; and it wasn't a good way to meet somebody. She had seemed rather grumpy and unpleasant. Sebastian of course, being the oblivious one just kept following her, and chatting about the most random things. He kept doing this until she flew up into a tree and didn't come back down.

[Volinolona]

Mara: *jumps, a little startled, looks back over at Kumori and sets her bundle on the ground* I have survived here for years, deary. Today isn't any different than yesterday. Besides, a master healer never goes on an herb hunt alone. Best be watching the trees if you have any plans of attempting to harm me. *nose twitches in slight amusement, doesn't seem scared at all*

[Roux-]

Kumori raised an eyebrow. "You're right. Every day is the same old rut. ANd you didn't answer my second question." she admitted quietly. Her stomach snarled, and Kumori glanced down at it, remembering she hadn't eaten for a while.

[Volinolona]

Mara: *gestures to the bundle* Herb hunting. Well, I guess it's not truly hunting, as they don't run away or fight back. *smiles a little, rolls her eyes as a voice comes from up in the trees*
Voice: But you still have to track them and someone could have gotten there before you.

[Roux-]

Kumori's hackles raised when she heard the voice. She lifted her lips into a snarl. Kumori wasn't a small wolf; she was taller than most males, towering some. She narrowed her eyes and looked into the trees, ready to defend herself.

[Volinolona]

Mara: *amusement lights in her eyes* It's only John.
John: *peeks down from the branches above, solid black, an unusually small and very thin wolf, his eyes a bright crystal blue* The twig who can do no harm to even a beetle.
Mara: Unless you eat it...
John: That was on a dare! *ears flatten, sticks his tongue out at Mara*

Kumori huffed and sat down, looking at John. Why everyone so... small here?" she wondered aloud. She turned her attention back to Mara and John. "You ate a beetle?"

[Volinolona]

John: Yes. My sister dared me to, so I did. *shrugs* Wasn't pleasant. I have no idea why pups enjoy eating them... *frowns slightly, going into thought, taking his attention away from his grip, drops to the ground with a dull thud*
Mara: *can't help but giggle a little* You're not a bat.
John: *glares at her, then gets to his paws and shakes a few twigs and leaves from his pelt*
