Generation Zero
Many years ago, scientists began working on a project that was kept secret from all governments. This project was to create intelligent life that could take the place of human soldiers in battle. Their first attempts went horribly wrong. They had attempted to create a canine version of a Naga, a serpent hybrid viewed in some cultures as wise beings, great evils, and sometimes even Gods. They planned to use these to strike fear and wonder into these cultures. Instead, they ended up with raging, uncontrollable beasts. After this failure, they attempted to make a more simple hybrid. The one that most fantasy canine lovers wish existed. The hybrid of wolf and bird. This one was not successful either. The canines had very low intelligence and did not have enough aggression to be considered useable. The scientists had trouble figuring out what was wrong. They soon realized that using existing strands of DNA and breeding pets with spliced genes would never guarantee good results, if any at all. They would need something born with the genes without the interference of the species' existing genes. They would need to create Generation Zeros. A Generation Zero is a creature who is not related to any existing creature of its species. The scientists managed to create some of the test-tube babies. They created mutated canines and felines of all sorts. Once they had enough, they got ready to attempt to breed them, but something one would never expect happened. A bright light flashed and the Generation Zeros were gone. Vanished without a trace. The humans don't know where their experiments have gone. Only the one who took them knows. The great Timekeeper, Chronosire, has taken them to a far away planet free of the humans. This planet dwarfs even the largest of stars, even galaxies. The only thing possibly holding it together and keeping it hospitable is powerful magics. Here, the Generation Zeros live and face new challenges.

Now, these are a little wordy, but you do need to read them all. It's important.

Rules
Now, these are a little wordy, but you do need to read them all. It's important.
1.) No mature content. That means no swearing, no mature scenes, and keep gore to a minimum. Like, if your character is fighting, don't describe the wounds. Just say where they bit or scratched and whether or not they drew blood. They will be healed soon after, for there will most likely be a healer with them. If not, there will be a healer nearby.
2.) No forced mating. If the other person's character does not want yours as their mate, leave them alone. Now, your character can find a female who has been forced to have pups, but she must already be carrying the pups when found and can not be an existing character beforehand. There also must be no sign of the father at all. He must have abandoned the female after realizing she was expecting pups. He can not come back and try to do the same to her again or get to any of the other female characters. It is not allowed to be said that they were forced to mate. They can be upset when the pups are brought up and the rest of us will get it. Keep this clean for younger users. A female is allowed to have what are known as Generation Zero Pups, where she is pregnant, but the pups do not have biological parents. There are also 'transfers', where an injured female is in danger of losing her pups because of injury, lack of nourishment, or because her immune system is attacking the pups, so a healer will do a cast (spell) to transfer the pups from their mother to a female willing to carry the pups for her.
3.) You may have as many characters as you wish, as long as you make it clear which character(s) you are using in each of your posts. This can be done easily by putting your character's name and then a colon (the little thing you use for eyes on a smiley face) before their actions. Make sure that if you're doing this, you put each of your characters on a separate line. If you are playing characters in multiple different scenes at once, put an empty line between them. You must start out with no more than three characters. Your first characters must be large canines and all your characters must be predatory. No prey characters such as unicorns, pegasi, or other common fantasy creatures that look like prey animals.
4.) No god-modding. The most powerful creatures living on the planet are the Timekeepers, also known as Chronosire, Nox, Celara, Rosara, and Solfire. These five are the dragons of Time and they watch over the planet. Next in power are their children, who I will not reveal to you just yet. When I bring them into the Role Play, you will find out at some point. After them is the main bad guy you will be facing. He is known as the Living Plague. He has a warrior that you must be wary of known as Ray the Plague Prince. Below him are two characters you may or may not meet known as Sophie and Obsidianfang. There are creatures above the Timekeepers known as the Celestials, but they are almost never seen.
5.) No mind controlling powers. There are some creatures, such as Sirens (will be introduced later in the story) that can put those of the opposite gender under powerful spells and charms, but these charms, but the charms can be broken and some creatures are immune to said abilities.
6.) This is not a literate Role Play, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would put some effort into your posts.
7.) No text talk at all. It drives me up the wall and makes it hard to understand you.
8.) Use the proper Role Play markings. *actions* (out of Role Play) -mind speech/telepathy- {thoughts}
9.) You can NOT only be female unless you only have one character. If you have multiple characters, at least one of them has to be male.
Growth Rate and Relationships
1.) A female expecting little ones will usually only carry them for about five or six days before having them. If a female carries her little ones for more than a week before giving birth, the little ones are considered late. If she carries them for more than two weeks, they are presumed dead and a healer will cast the little ones out of the mother.
2.) After being born, little ones do not suckle. They grow too fast for this part of a normal creature's life cycle. They grow to full maturity in under a week. If it takes over a week, they may have development problems and health issues. If it takes over two weeks, their growing stops and they never reach full size, but they do mature.
3.) It does not take very long for relationships to form, but be careful... It is sometimes harder to keep the one your character has won over than it was to win them over.
4.) Make sure you okay it with the person playing your character's love before deciding that the female is going to have little ones. The person playing the female gets to decide when the female is expecting, when the little ones are born, how many there are, and how many the person playing the male gets to play, if any.
Generation Zero Canine Starter Characters
1.) They must be canines (dogs, wolves, foxes).
2.) They can be mutated. This includes wings, long fangs, cat-like eyes, horns, etc. No multiple tails. I know it may sound weird and ridiculous, but please no multiple tailed creatures.
3.) They can have any sort of colors you want. I don't care if they are a living rainbow, just make your character to your liking.
4.) Do NOT use other people's art. If you have not drawn the character yourself, you must describe it instead. If you use art that is not your own, you will be removed from the Role Play. Art theft will not be tolerated.
5.) Generation Zeros do not have any existing relatives until they become parents. That means they do not have siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, or any other sort of family member you can think of. Once they are parents, they will be related to the pups and any pups that end up related to their little ones.
6.) Any characters you ad din later can be any species as long as it's predatory. No prey animals.
